Retiring soon? Let's plan your transition.

Someone recently asked me for help facing two important retirement decisions:

  • What should replace his employer health coverage?

  • How should his savings provide retirement income?

For health coverage, we compared continuing his employer plan with transitioning to Medicare and a Medicare Supplement.

For income, Social Security would provide part of what he needed, with his savings providing the rest. A strategy was developed to provide income now while the remaining savings would continue to grow.

The result was a coordinated plan for both his health coverage and retirement income.

Ready to retire? Let’s put the pieces together.
